Plastic Geogrid is a mesh material made of polymer such as or polypropylene (PP), which is widely used for soil reinforcement and foundation stabilization. In parking lot construction, the use of plastic geogrid can effectively enhance the bearing capacity of the foundation, prevent ground settlement and cracking, thus extending the service life of the parking lot.
Main types of plastic geogrid:
1. Uniaxial Geogrid: High tensile strength mainly in one direction, suitable for structures requiring unidirectional reinforcement, such as retaining walls and steep slopes.
2. Biaxial Geogrid: High tensile strength in both longitudinal and transverse directions, suitable for applications requiring multi-directional reinforcement, such as roads and parking lot foundations.
